Investigators say scammers are posing as Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronsiter and Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco to demand pornographic content. The sextortion scam involves people making phone calls claiming to be local sheriffs and telling people they have a warrant out for their arrest for selling drugs, according to the Hillsborough and Pasco County Sheriff's Offices. The alleged scammers are then demanding sexual photos and videos of people having sex "to prove they do not have drugs on them."
