A Tampa Bay non-profit that rescues Americans from warzones and in the middle of natural disasters plans to continue its efforts in the new year. Each month this year brought a new mission for Project DYNAMO. In 2023, the rescue organization completed hundreds of evacuation missions in Ukraine. The team also successfully rescued people caught in the middle of dangerous wildfires in Maui. Most recently, Project DYNAMO has concentrated its efforts on rescuing American hostages from Gaza. Bryan Stern, the founder of the nonprofit, believes there are somewhere around ten American hostages that still need to be rescued. But the challenge is the job is perilous.
