One person was shot and killed on Christmas Day in Plant City and now police are looking for the person responsible, the agency said Tuesday in a release. Officers say they responded to reports of gunfire around 9:40 p.m. at a home on Louisiana Street near S Gordon Street in Plant City. When they arrived, police say they found a person with upper body trauma. They were rushed to the hospital where they died. Police have not yet released the identity of the person killed. Police say they believe the shooting was an isolated incident. Anyone with information on the shooting investigation is asked to contact the Plant City Police Department at 813-757-9200.
