A mail carrier who works for the United States Postal Service is dead after a hit-and-run crash occurred Monday afternoon in Tampa, authorities say. Shortly before 3 p.m., law enforcement arrived at the intersection of North River Cove and North Mulberry Street after receiving a report of a deadly crash, the Tampa Police Department said in a news release. At the scene, police say the mailman was pronounced dead.
