Largo Police have arrested a man who told officers that he killed his brother and who also attacked one of the detectives during his arrest. According to police reports, Joshua Brinkley, 41, made concerning statements to friends of his, one of whom called the police. Officers responded early Saturday morning, arriving at Brinkley's house shortly before 1 a.m. When they got there, officers claim Brinkley was just getting into his car and leaving his house. When he saw the officers, he stopped the car and got out with his hands up saying, "I just killed my brother in my house."
