A man was taken to the hospital Friday evening after an attempted traffic stop turned into a high-speed chase which ended in a shooting, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office explains. According to the news release, deputies tried to pull a Mitsubishi SUV over near the city of Hernando after suspecting the driver had a felony warrant.
