A teenage girl was rushed to the hospital Sunday morning after she was hit by a Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority trolley, police said. The crash involving the PSTA trolley happened around 11:22 a.m. on 1st Avenue South near 7th Street, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department. The 15-year-old girl, who's from Gulfport, just exited the SunRunner bus when she crossed the road and was hit by the trolley that was heading eastbound on the road, the police department said in an update.
