Description
A part-time assistant coach with the Jesuit High School football team is out of a job after video surfaced of him hitting a player during Friday night's game, the school said.
The video, shared online by Kevin Hobbs, a former NFL player and defensive coordinator for Tampa Bay Tech High, showed the moments when the player runs off the field to the sideline. As he does so, the part-time assistant coach can be seen immediately hitting the young player on the helmet.
The video continues to show the coach walking over and confronting the student, yelling at him for several seconds before walking away.
