The Tampa Police Department is investigating after an elderly woman was found dead on Wednesday. A statement from the agency explains officers responded to 305 E. Wellington Court on reports of a dead woman. Once on the scene, they reportedly found the woman, who was in her early 70s. Police say she had upper body trauma.
