Police have identified the man they say is responsible for a shooting that left seven people hurt earlier this month in downtown St. Petersburg. Officers said the shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. on Oct. 7 as a group of men got into a fight on the sidewalk on 3rd Street North near Central Avenue. Three men were shot and four others — two men and two women — suffered minor injuries.
