A 22-year-old man is behind bars after he reportedly shot and killed another man early Sunday morning in Winter Haven. Taquion Cotton is facing numerous charges, including first-degree murder. At around 1:47 a.m., a person saw a man's body – later identified as 20-year-old Roderick Wilson Jr. – lying on the ground with gunshot wounds in the parking lot of Pentecostal Church of God located on 24th Street Northwest, the Polk County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.
