A CSX freight train crashed into a stolen truck left abandoned on the tracks in Pasco County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. It happened around 8:10 a.m. Monday near Bay Avenue and Partridge Boulevard, troopers said. The northbound train crashed into the truck from Mosaic’s nearby fertilizer plant several hundred feet south of the crossing, said FHP in a statement, adding that the train did not derail.
