A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection to a deadly shooting that happened Saturday night in Lakeland, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Shannon Owens is accused of shooting a man at around 11:20 p.m. in the 5500 block of Deeson Road, which is within Hillsborough County. When deputies arrived at the scene, they say they found Owens being detained by several witnesses.
