The Polk County Sheriff's Office has found a truck connected to a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened Friday afternoon in Fort Meade, Sheriff Grady Judd explains. According to the sheriff, a 9-year-old boy was riding his bike to his friend's house around 4:45 p.m. on Hutchins Road when he was hit by a red Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The child was reportedly thrown into the neighbor's yard from the impact. The boy, identified as Andres Martinez, reportedly died on scene.
