A 1-year-old child's birthday abruptly ended after shots were fired outside an Airbnb rental in Davenport over the weekend, leading to an Orlando man being killed and a Sanford woman hurt. During a news conference Monday afternoon, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd explained how a family rented a house on Robin Road in unincorporated Davenport to celebrate the birthday and invited family over. The family got to the house Friday night and spent time setting up for the party before it started around 3 p.m. the next day. It wasn't until around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when the shooting occurred.
