A 9-year-old boy is in the hospital with critical injuries after he crashed into a car while trying to cross a road in Pasco County, a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol explains. The boy was riding on a side-by-side ATV with a 34-year-old man Friday night traveling eastbound on the grass south shoulder of State Road 52, west of Palm Street. At the same time, a Toyota Camry was driving eastbound on the same road.
