A search is on for a missing boater Saturday afternoon in Hernando County, deputies say. Just before 4 p.m., boaters saw a canoe with no one on it circling in the Chassahowitzka Bay, the Hernando County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. Authorities say the boaters then quickly found a man hanging onto a floating marker. That same man told the boaters that he and another man fell out of the canoe that was circling in the bay.
