Description
A driver was arrested after video shows him speeding into and smashing through the front doors of a Seffner, Florida gas station just as a man was entering.
The crash happened just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Travel Centers of America located on Tampa Gateway Boulevard.
The man was walking into the front doors of the gas station when 37-year-old Anthony Katosh drove his Kia Forte at a high rate of speed through the front of the store, authorities said.
Katosh ended up slamming through the gas station, pinning the man between the driver's side door of the SUV and what deputies called a "metal structure."
Soon after the crash, deputies and first responders with Hillsborough County Fire Rescue arrived to render aid. Both Katosh and the other man were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the release said.
Detectives said it appears the crash wasn't an accident.
