On Thursday, hundreds of people across the Tampa Bay area, Florida and the country took to the streets for what's being called "A Day Without Immigrants." People are participating in a protest against legislation signed by Gov. Ron DeSantis, which critics say is anti-immigration. Back on May 10, DeSantis signed into law a sweeping immigration bill to deter people who are in the U.S. illegally from coming to the Sunshine State along with holding others accountable in the state who are involved.
