LIVE RADAR: We're keeping track of showers and storms in the Tampa Bay area The higher rain chances stick around through Wednesday, then begin to fade toward the weekend. Monday will bring another afternoon with pop-up showers and storms beginning around noon near the coast and then slowly drifting inland. It will be hot and humid with highs near 90. The highest rain chances this week will still be along and east of I-75, but still even the coastal areas will see a better chance for some rain. Those rain chances will stay elevated through Wednesday before slowly dropping off towards the weekend. Slightly lower humidity at the surface should make for a nice weekend — Memorial Day weekend!
