Description
Officers in Fairfax County, Virginia, stopped traffic on Interstate 66 to help a group of ducklings get across the roadway on Monday, May 15.
This video released by the Fairfax County Police Department shows bodycam footage from one of their K9 officers as they gently shepherd the baby birds along.
“First responders serve everyone in the county, ducks included!” said the police department on a Facebook post.
Officers from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department were also involved in the operation, the department said.
