Description

A 33-year-old semi-truck driver is doing "okay" after two concrete poles he was carrying on his trailer broke loose and came through his back window and into his front window Friday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The driver said a car had been parked on the outside shoulder of Interstate 275 southbound, south of North Lois Avenue when it pulled into the traffic lane. The driver told FHP the car then cut him off, causing him to slam on his brakes and two of the poles to break from their tie-downs.
