A crash along Kennedy Boulevard (SR-60 East) near the I-275 South on-ramp is causing major delays for commuters, especially along the Veterans Expressway. The crash happened around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday on Kennedy Boulevard just before the I-275 South on-ramp in Tampa. Sky10 flew over the crash, which appears to show at least two vehicles — a van and a car — were involved. There is no word on if anyone was hurt in this crash at this time. Delays from the crash appear to extend for miles. Traffic cameras from the Florida Department of Transportation show delays impacting the Veterans Expressway (SR-589 South) at Independence Parkway all the way to near the Honey Hill area. However, while there is heavy congestion, there does appear to be at least one lane moving. Drivers should use caution in the area and if possible, find an alternate route.
