A man was killed Sunday night in a shooting in Plant City, police said. It happened just after 9:30 p.m. Police said they arrived to the area of Mendonsa Road near Pinedale Meadows Court. Officers said they found a 44-year-old man who had "sustained upper body trauma." In an update Monday morning, police said the man died from his injuries. A "person of interest" was found and police said they are continuing their investigation. The agency added there was "no active threat" to people in the area.
