A shooting at a mini mart in Bradenton sent one person to the hospital, the police department reports. At around 7 p.m., a suspect was shot during an attempted armed robbery at Cumming's Mini Mart on 9th Avenue East, a spokesperson for Bradenton police said. One person was taken into custody and another was transported to the hospital. Their condition was not immediately released.
