An off-duty Pinellas County deputy was arrested and later fired for driving under the influence early Wednesday morning in Clearwater, according to the sheriff's office. Rickey Rodgers, 45, who has been with the sheriff's office since 2004, was seen by Clearwater police around 2:17 a.m. running a red light at Belcher Road and Gulf to Bay Boulevard in his Toyota Tacoma pickup truck, deputies said.
