Four people died after two small planes crashed into each other in mid-air Tuesday afternoon over Lake Hartridge. It happened around 2 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement to 10 Tampa Bay. The Polk County Sheriff's Office confirmed that four people died in the collision.
