Deputies shot and killed a man who they said pointed a gun at them from the balcony of a northwest Harris County apartment. It happened at an apartment complex near where Tanner Road meets the Beltway. According to investigators, the situation started around 7:30 a.m. when they got reports of a man who was shooting at people.
