Archive images of two sites of the multinational steel manufacturing cooporation ArcelorMittal steelworks; one at Grande-Synthe in northern France and one in Florange in eastern France. The steel group announces its intention to cut jobs at seven sites that make up the "northern cluster" of ArcelorMittal France, due to the lack of competitiveness of steel in Europe and a transfer of certain support functions to India from all its European sites.
