Thousands of Serbian teachers, unpaid for months due to their solidarity with protesting students, are now reliant on public support, with over one million euros raised through a citizen-led platform. Thousands of teachers – 20,000 according to unions – stopped receiving their pay in what they say is punishment for backing the protests.
