Residents of the Sviatoshinsky district of Kyiv describe apocalyptic scenes as Ukraine came under a deadly barrage of Russian airstrikes overnight from Wednesday to Thursday. The attacks killed at least eight people and injured more than 70, according to interior minister Igor Klymenko. "The windows started to fall, the glass started to shatter. Doors started falling out of their hinges," says 33-year-old Olena Davydiuk, who lives near the impact site of one of the missiles. IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
