A Dutch WWII musical telling the story of one of the Netherlands' most famous war heroes during the Nazi invasion has grown into a cultural phenomenon, with audiences and actors saying its message is as relevant today as it was back then. More than 3.7 million Dutch people, a fifth of the country's entire population, have gone to see "Soldaat van Oranje" (Soldier of Orange) since the show first hit the stage in 2010.
