Description
Several hundred worshippers gathered for a funeral prayer in memory of Aboubakar Cissé outside the mosque in Tremblay-en-France, a week after the young Malian man was murdered in the mosque in La Grand-Combe, southern France. “I'm scared. I'm being careful, (...) we're not at ease,” said Ikram, a 44-year-old Muslim woman who did not wish to give her surname. She “would like to see what happened acknowledged. For me, this is Islamophobia,” she said, while another worshipper, Youssouf Wague, believes it was an “act of terrorism.” IMAGES AND SOUNDBITES
