Palestinians donate blood at the Kuwait Speciality Field Hospital in the southern city of Khan Yunis amid a humanitarian crisis worsened by an Israeli blockade on all aid since early March. "There is no food or drink, the crossings are closed, and there is no access to nutritious or protein-rich food", says the hospital's head of the laboratory department Hind Joda, adding that Gazans still responded to the donation call "despite the toll it takes on them afterwards" as "they know that every drop helps save the life of an injured".
