A few hours before French President Emmanuel Macron is due to appear on a major TV show on TF1, French MPs are sharing their expectations. "He is trying to regain control and make his presence felt (...) I think the show will be long and tedious and that many people will switch off after 20 minutes," predicts an LFI MP. For a Socialist MP, "making vague concepts will not help him regain popularity". Another MP wants the president to announce a referendum on end-of-life care.
