Description
A man carjacked Jess Alexander Arnett in Hazel Dell, Washington, then attempted to carjack another person near Goodwill. Clark County Sheriff's Office responded, locating the stolen van behind the American Legion Post 176. During a confrontation inside the building, where a Saturday bingo game was in progress, a suspect was fatally shot by deputies. Another suspect, a woman, was later apprehended without incident. Witnesses described chaotic scenes, and one bingo player recounted her experience. The incident deeply affected the community, yet a long-time bingo player affirmed her intention to return.
