Description
The Frisco Police Department has arrested a suspect related to the Meadow Creek Fire.
According to police, the suspect, who is not believed to be from the area, was arrested Saturday evening. They remain in custody and the case will now go to the 5th Judicial District Attorney's Office.
A spokesperson for the Red, White and Blue Fire Protection District said the 6.3-acre Meadow Creek Fire started around 5 p.m. Saturday. The fire was located on public land between Wildflower Lane, Meadow Drive, Whole Foods and Interstate 70 in Frisco, a media release says. Twelve homes are also nearby, but no evacuations were ordered.
