Oil giant Chevron Corp. will lay off 125 Denver-based employees on July 1 as part of the company’s push for massive reductions in its workforce. In February, Houston-based Chevron (NYSE: CVX) announced that it would cut 15% to 20% of its employees, mostly completing the layoffs by the end of 2026. The business is expected to cut anywhere from 6,750 to 9,000 employees companywide.
