Investigators have identified the man whose remains were found when a wildfire started at his home outside of Lyons in July. The Boulder County Sheriff's Office said the man's remains were found at a single-family home on Eagle Ridge Road on July 31. A wildfire, the Stone Canyon Fire, originated from that property on July 30, the sheriff's office said. It spread to surrounding trees, brush and wildland, burning 1,553 acres and destroying five homes.
