Russian President Vladimir Putin is calling for a pause to the fighting in Ukraine next week to commemorate Victory Day. Putin said the truce will run from May 8 to May 11. Victory Day in Russia marks when Moscow defeated Nazi Germany in 1945. Russia is calling on Ukraine to do the same.
