Residents of Leyden Rock, an Arvada community built in 2018, are concerned about their ability to evacuate safely from the neighborhood in the event of a wildfire or other emergency. They said they worry about the single access road that would be bottlenecked with traffic as residents in the area fled in an emergency. Laura Turner, a Leyden Rock homeowner who has lived in the community since it was built, said the neighborhood's design creates dangerous evacuation conditions.
