Middle Park Health is opening a new 30,000 square-foot hospital in Fraser to serve Tabernash, Frasier and Winter Park, which believe it or not hasn’t had a real hospital in this area. For medical needs people of either use clinics or driven more than 25 miles to a nearby hospital in Granby or more than 60 miles to a hospital in Kremmling. The new hospital in Fraser will open on June 23 and offer primarily emergency care and trauma care but they’ve left room on the second floor to add primary care, orthopedic care or scheduled surgeries in the future.
