A man attacked a restaurant employee Wednesday afternoon – apparently at random – before the woman's coworkers subdued him, the Jefferson County Sheriff's office said. The attack was reported around 1:45 p.m. at the Rock Rest Lodge, which is located at 16005 Mount Vernon Road. According to the sheriff's office, the man, identified as 30-year-old Brandon Montano, walked into the restaurant, sat down and ordered a beer.
