Three tornadoes that damaged homes and property east of the Denver metro area on Sunday were rated EF2, and a fourth one was rated EF1, the National Weather Service said Wednesday. Tornadoes in the Bennett area and the Elkhorn neighborhood in northwest Elbert County were both EF2, meaning the twisters had wind speeds of 111 to 135 mph, according to the weather service.
