Tornado damage was reported in multiple areas in Adams, Arapahoe and Elbert counties after a severe storm hit the area Sunday. Severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings were issued for the area Sunday afternoon. According to the National Weather Service (NSW), tornado touchdowns were reported north and west of Bennett. Another touchdown was reported near Quincy Avenue about 11 miles east of E-470, and another was reported southeast of Aurora Reservoir. All of these reports came in between 1 and 2 p.m., according to the NWS.
