Description
November 19, 1990 Nicolosi's Italian restaurant on 40th and El Cajon Blvd would soon be a thing of the past as plans to expand interstate 15 meant it was to be torn down. Patrons and the owner were sad and uncertain about the future when Gina Lew dropped in. It was in that location since 1954. In 1991, ownership moved Nicolosi's to Adobe Falls and Waring Road. Under third generation ownership, the restaurant moved for a third time to its last location at 7005 Navajo Road near Cowles Mountain in San Carlos.
