Description
June 3 on The Story: For months now, leaders at the Blanchet House homeless day center in Portland's Old Town have been working to open an overnight women's shelter in the area — a 75-bed facility they're calling Bethanie's Room, named for a woman who died while sleeping outside due to a lack of shelter options.
