Description
Get ready for the warmest day so far this year, but it will only last for 1 day - we're tracking rain & storms and a weekend drop in temperatures in your 10 Weather Impact forecast.
Wildfires are still going strong in Canada, and the smoke from the fires will producy hazy sunshine, which will continue through Wednesday before a cold front arrives to clear the air later in the week.
In addition to the hazy sunshine, temperature will continue to climb and will include some of the hottest temperatures we've seen so far this year, with high temps reaching the upper 80s!
Warm southerly winds will increase Wedensday, and ahead of our next storm system, clouds will start to increase later in the day.
As the heat and humidity builds in, it will also fuel our next chances for rain and storms on Thursday and Friday. It will be very muggy Thursday and Friday, with a brief break expected over the weekend.
However, the cold front that will give us our 'brief break', will also be the focal point for showers and a few storms. Rain chances will ramp up Thursday, peak on Friday and decrease on Saturday.
We will dry out and cool down for the weekend to seasonal temps - mid to upper 70s, with another round of showers & storms expected early next week.
