Description
A man is facing charges in connection with a deadly shooting outside a gas station in northwest Houston in February, according to court records.
The shooting happened on West Tidwell Road near the Northwest Freeway around 10:40 p.m. on Feb. 18.
According to the initial investigation, the victim, Darin Liggins, had driven to the gas station with his girlfriend and a 5-year-old girl in the car. HPD said he went inside to get change to put air in his tires, and as he was on his way back to the car, Liggins was shot several times. The car was struck by gunfire, but the girl and the woman were not injured. Liggins died at the scene.
