Nearly two decades have passed since a mother and daughter were murdered while hiking a remote trail in the Mount Pilchuck area. The 2006 killings of Mary Cooper, 56, and her daughter Susanna Stodden, 27, remain one of Snohomish County’s most disturbing unsolved cases. Despite years of investigation, no arrests have been made, and the killer remains unknown.
